Common questions
When are my company’s accounts due?
A private limited company usually has nine months from the end of its financial year to file accounts with Companies House. A company’s first accounts can have a different deadline. We confirm your dates when we start.
Do sole traders need annual accounts?
Sole traders do not file accounts with Companies House, but they still need accurate figures for the year to work out their profit. A full set of accounts also helps with a loan or mortgage application.
Can you prepare accounts if my bookkeeping is not up to date?
Yes. We bring the records up to date first, then prepare the accounts. We assess what is needed during your consultation and include it in your quote.
